Working closely with the Box Office Manager, the Box Office Supervisor will play an important role in operating Live Events.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in multiple Palms Casino Resort venues as needed; collaborates with Guest Services, Casino Marketing, and VIP personnel to ensure events are successful.
- Review ticketing information for each show build. Quality check prices, ticket types, dates, websites. Create holds, send programing requests, set up ticket counts.
- Supervise and train ticket sellers. Ensure ticket sellers are following procedures while providing support.
- Resolve customer service issues and complaints. Work with other departments to fix issues related to customer service complaints when appropriate. Troubleshoot any software or point of sale system issues.
- Send and monitor help tickets to IT and Ticket provider when needed.
- Broker balancing and invoicing.
- Assist manager with scheduling and disseminate the schedule for department, ensuring all shifts are filled properly.
- Handles all customer concerns before and during events, inclusive of any formal complaint resolutions. Escalate guest issues as needed.
- Work with promoters and event organizers; help ensure all ticketing needs are met.
- Process promotional tickets and coordinate internal orders.
- Update weekly reports. Collaborate in marketing meetings.
- Organize files and backup.
- Respond to guest phone calls and emails. Field venue inquiries.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS preferred)
- Minimum of 3 Years related experience required and 3 Years of experience within a hotel/gaming property is preferred.
- Knowledge and interest in live entertainment preferred
