Marketing Specialist

I. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media content, crafting compelling copy, creating social media assets, and supporting our digital marketing efforts including website content. Assists the Marketing Director with all aspects of marketing the bank.

II. JOB DUTIES:

Social Media:

• Manage social media platforms for Bank and business units.

• Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Develop content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic messaging.

• Respond to and engage with social media responses (messages and comments).

• Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

• Collaborate with business units to gather information and develop content that aligns with the Bank's brand and objectives.

• Create and manage new Corporate (and business unit specific) social media pages as necessary to support business growth.

Copywriting:

• Write compelling copy for marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, press releases, advertisements, and brochures.

• Craft clear and concise messages that effectively communicate Dart Bank's value proposition and key product/service features.

• Ensure all copy is accurate, adheres to brand guidelines, and maintains a consistent tone across all channels.

• Write and apply for Industry Awards.

Graphic Design:

• Create compelling, visually appealing, and shareable content for social platforms.

• Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all marketing materials and platforms.

• Provide creative input and assist in the development of marketing collateral as needed.

Website:

• Assist in the execution of search engine optimization (SEO).

• Assists with maintaining Bank’s website content.

• Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing.

General:

• Engage with the marketing team on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement brand awareness initiatives.

• Uphold Dart Bank's brand standards and ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.

• Monitor online reputation and respond to customer feedback or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Create online banking digital ads and segment audiences.

• Performs various marketing duties as assigned.

• Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

V. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.

Skills and Experience: Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word and Outlook). In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required.. Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms of digital marketing (i.e., Wordpress). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented. Experience in social media management, content creation, copywriting, and digital marketing preferred. Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing analytics a plus. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities required. Familiarity with the banking industry or financial services industry a plus.

VI. ACCURACY AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with a high level of accuracy required. Responsiveness required.
