Position Overview:
As a Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events to promote our services and brand. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure successful events, from conception to completion, and assist with marketing efforts to drive engagement and business growth.
The ideal candidate is energetic and has a passion for Marketing & growth. We are looking for a self-starter who is ready for a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to the ever changing challenges of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including virtual events, webinars, workshops, trade shows, speaking engagements and client appreciation events.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and team members to ensure seamless event logistics.
- Ensure our events are a memorable experience that generates new leads and provides value for existing clients.
- Coordinate relationships with external solution vendors to support vendor program requirements and obtain Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to fund/support events.
- Marketing & Content Creation:
- Collaborate and help develop and implement creative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive business growth.
- Create educational and value-rich content, including blog posts, social media campaigns, downloadable such as e-books and templates, and case studies/testimonials.
- Create CRM automation workflows and nurturing email campaigns that resonate with our target audience, and lead prospects through the buying funnel.
- Produce engaging and informative content that highlights our solutions, industry insights, and success stories.
- Maintain a consistent brand image and message across all marketing materials.
- Data Analysis:
- Utilize analytics tools to track the effectiveness of marketing strategies and event outcomes.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and propose new and evolving marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Training and/or experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Creativity and a strong interest in developing innovative marketing strategies.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, software, and platforms, or a willingness to learn (e.g., email marketing software, social media tools, design software) (Experience with HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Microsoft 365 a plus, but not required.)
- Some experience in event coordination, ideally within SMB space preferred.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Strong multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
