Workplace Status:
Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their primary location three times per week, at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.

Our Embedded Platforms Infrastructure System Engineering team is a dynamic, high-energy, and innovative group focused on designing the software platform that underpins our electronics architecture including safety, communications, cybersecurity, memory, programming, and power management functions across our vehicle portfolio.
The Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Engineering Manager passionate about leading the team designing and deploying the Software Defined Vehicle 2.0 Ethernet System. This includes developing and executing the production ethernet roadmap including requirements, DFMEA and validation of the network. This individual will be depended on to build strong connections with internal and external partners, including those in the data center silicon market to lead the strategic execution across the platform.
The selected individual will be expected to actively expand the boundaries of innovation, learn quickly, proactively pursue resolving systemic issues of prior architectures, and define the execution path in a quickly changing environment. They will be counted on to provide thought and team leadership, facilitate communication, and inspire passion.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development of the Ethernet System in accordance with the System Engineering Framework including blueprint definition, topology publication, software requirements, DFMEAs, test cases & test scripts in accordance with the Testable Functionality Rollout Plan.
- Lead the network characterization & validation strategy & execution, allocating performance, bandwidth, configuration & security settings to applications.
- Build relationships with the ethernet supply base, both in data center and automotive applications, enabling the team to stay up to date with the latest industry standards, protocols, and trends. Lead the team to incorporate learnings and emerging technologies into system design and development.
- Establish process for development and change control for network configuration and security settings.
- Develop, train, and enforce process for system development and associated requirements document, test & release to ensure on time delivery with first time quality.
- Recruit, provide people leadership and technical coaching for the reporting team.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- BS in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
- 10+ years of engineering experience in electronics/software design and development
- Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills; demonstrated ability for working across functional and organizational boundaries
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Strong experience driving business case driven technical solution decisions for broad organization.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Advanced degree in Business, Electrical/Software/Computer Engineering/Science
- Experience with design & deployment of IEEE TSN standards
- Knowledge in computer networking protocols, architecture & communications
- Experience with network simulation and analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python), and software development for embedded systems
- Experience leading global team of direct reports responsible for designing and commercializing electronics and/or software
- Strong comprehension of automotive software development, architecture and AUTOSAR ethernet stack, experience with software bring-up.

Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $275,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
