In this role - the first of its kind to our organisation - the Copywriter will produce, edit, and proofread persuasive text that will be used in designated media channels.

Location: Anaheim (and the Southern California area), remote options considered.

Compensation: Target salary starting at $70,000 per year. The actual salary for the selected candidate will factor in both education and experience in the field and industry.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Business, or similar field and/or prior experience in a copywriter or similar role.

Experience: Both highly experienced candidates and recent graduates may apply. Candidates with prior SEO experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail – a Copywriter is particularly concern with accuracy or both information and content
• Creative– The ideal candidate will be both innovative and attuned to target demographics and can tell a compelling and persuasive story with their work.
• Multi-tasking – This candidate may be called upon to manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment, keeping all interested parties apprised of progress.
• Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.

• Timely – Our Copywriter will be deadline-sensitive and focused on quick and accurate production when called upon.

Responsibilities:

• Writes press releases and advertising copy to be used in broadcast or published media whether in print or digital format.
• Participates in website content creation and publication.
• Researches and edits copy that will be used in various forms of advertising.
• Develops slogans and copy to persuade the target audience to purchase the client’s products or services.
• Meets with clients to understand the intended audience and the message the company wants to communicate.
• Presents ideas to clients and modifies them based on feedback provided.
• Oversees the production of advertising materials.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
