Responsibilities:
- Work with marketing staff, firm leadership, and senior staff to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with Klingner’s brand standards.
- Copy edit and proofread written text provided by colleagues, customizing the content to specific client needs and requirements.
- Interview staff and draft resumes, project sheets, blog posts, and white pages.
- Write compelling and persuasive submittal content, featuring Klingner’s capabilities, expertise, and unique selling points.
- Handle outside requests of a general promotional nature from clients, consultants, etc.
- Help update and maintain opportunity pipeline data in Salesforce.
- Research incoming leads, follow up and track their status, and develop new materials to support business development activities.
- Know Klingner’s evolving portfolio of work, departments, and service offerings.
- Develop social media strategies and content.
- Create and maintain website content.
- Assist with identifying project photography needs.
- Manage other responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing position.
- Experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus; experience in an architecture, engineering, or design firm is especially valuable.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Experience delivering significant marketing projects, coaching colleagues for presentations, and working closely with leadership and other senior staff on marketing strategy and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to craft a story in a compelling manner, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral.
- Excellent ability to manage work on multiple projects and respond effectively to shifting priorities.
- Strong ability to self-direct and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.
- Strong ability to organize and track a wide range of information and activity from varying sources and access that information as needed.
- A high degree of competency in InDesign is a must.
- Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content development, and scheduling tools.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
