Marketing Coordinator & Practice Manager Job Description

· This is an administrative position within our mental health therapy practice. The function of this role is to execute office and practice management duties to enhance the day-to-day operations of the practice. This position will serve as a vital support to the Founder & CEO, and also be a bridge between our team and the community. Marketing elements, such as designing marketing materials; blogging and basic website maintenance; and networking with referral partners in the community will be the core parts of the role, with additional duties added as the candidate onboards and settles into the role.

Marble Wellness is a growing business that would like to see a lot more growth! We are in need of a smart, dynamic, go-getter to help with a variety of tasks related to day-to-day and week-to-week business operations. This person will initially serve as a major help to our marketing operations, with the goal of this hire becoming the Practice Manager as we hire more therapists and add office locations.

The role has tasks that are “musts” but also is something that can be tailored to the strengths and creative ideas of the hire. There will be some structure to the position, but is largely flexible when it comes to work schedule. It allows for some work-from-home days, with expectations of meetings in the community and presence at our primary office in Ballwin on occasion.

The person in this role will work closely with the Founder & CEO, and has potential for supervisory duties.

The ideal candidate for this position is:

-likes people! You’ll be a bridge between our team and referral partners. We want those referral partners to interact with someone who represents our business well, and can leave a good, memorable impression in those networking meetings.

-has the ability to take creative ideas from the Founder & CEO and work independently to turn those into a reality. This particularly includes marketing initiatives, such as free downloads; working with therapists to create mini-educational videos; and other marketing campaigns that would be helpful to the community

-strong writing skills! A major component of success in this position is the ability to write well, striking a balance between warmth and professionalism, expertise and approachability. These writing skills will be necessary for marketing materials, website pages, and email correspondence.

-enjoys variety in their job! This person will start with marketing initiatives such as blogging, creating marketing materials, and interfacing with referral partners, with the intention that this person will also take on administrative duties such as payroll; basic website management; and other operational tasks. (The website management can be taught! Prior experience not required)

This job is hourly. It will start at about 10-12 hours per week, with expectations of the role growing to 18-20 hours per week, potentially more. Starting hourly rate is $18, with opportunity for raises quickly, as the candidate takes on duties and proves success in the position.
