Position Summary
As a Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns. Your duties will include researching market trends and compiling reports about consumer needs, creating marketing campaign content like graphics, blog posts or social media posts and assist in executing marketing events for Blackmon Mooring / BMS CAT.
Essential Functions:
- Support the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling sales forecasts, updating calendars, and organizing and planning promotional presentations
- Plan and manage trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, develop assignments and schedules, coordinate mailing lists and establish contacts
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership
- Develop effective professional relationships with qualified leads and maintain detailed records in CRM database (Salesforce).
- Assist graphic design team in creating engaging print and digital marketing materials
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or marketing communications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Marketing/Sales or Communications
- A power-user of all major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, content management software and customer relationship management
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design
- Attention to detail
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Compensation
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will receive a base salary and will participate in the corporate discretionary quarterly bonus plan.Your compensation will vary by experience level. This can be discussed during the first interview.
