PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR
BERT OGDEN AUTO GROUP
MID AND LOWER VALLEY FOCUS
Time and Days of Position
Days: Monday - Friday and some Saturdays as needed
Hours: 9 AM - 6:00 PM; some evening events are required
Pay: to commensurate upon experience
Daily Responsibilities
- Attend Mid-Valley and Lower Valley events such as chamber meetings/events; EDC meetings/events; charitable organizations; galas; minglers; and other events as requested by Bert Ogden Auto Group
- Take pictures at all events where present and post to social media with detailed caption and appropriate hashtags
- Abide by OEM and Bert Ogden Corporate advertising guidelines
- Visit Mid and Lower Valley Bert Ogden Dealerships to take photos of vehicles to post on social media with detailed captions and hashtags.
- Meet with general managers to facilitate mid/lower valley dealership involvement with local community events
- Maintain positive relationships with local charitable and civic leaders including school districts
- Promote Bert Ogden Auto Group always by networking with local business leaders and potential customers
- Maintain a calendar of events via Outlook
- Communicate regularly with Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Director
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Management or related field
- Able to work efficiently without direct supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Social media and technology savvy; you will be required to use various apps constantly for promotion and communication
- Outgoing and eager to learn
- Self-motivated
- Able to pivot when necessary when regarding working schedule
- Detail oriented
- Multitasker
- Bilingual a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Must have a valid Texas Driver License and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check.
