**Job Title: Front Office /Social Media Manager

This is a hybrid type of position ,whereby you will be working as a front office customer service representative to help with all aspects of invoicing, finance approvals, cash handling, store tagging, clerical and inventory data input, to make just a few tasks.
During downtime, typically mid-week, your primary role will be to focus on marketing to drive traffic to the store. This is the primary role we are looking for at the moment and you must have experience in this field. As a Social Media Marketing Manager for our retail furniture store, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic to our store, and increase sales. You will collaborate with the outsourced help (upwork) to create engaging content, manage Social Media accounts, analyze performance metrics, and stay updated on industry trends to optimize our online presence.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategy Development:** Develop comprehensive Social Media strategies aligned with the company's goals to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
2. **Content Creation:** Create compelling and visually appealing content for various Social Media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, showcasing our furniture products and promotions.
3. **Community Engagement:** Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster meaningful relationships with our online community to enhance brand loyalty.
4. **Campaign Management:** Plan and execute Social Media campaigns, contests, and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones, while aligning with seasonal sales and marketing initiatives.
5. **Influencer Collaboration:** Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our brand reach and credibility within the target audience.
6. **Analytics and Reporting:** Monitor and analyze Social Media metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversion rates, to assess campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
7. **Stay Updated on Trends:** Keep abreast of Social Media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices to continually innovate and improve our Social Media strategies.
8. **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Guerrilla marketing techniques (physical signage, flyers, posters, mailings, etc) to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Bonus qualifications helpful but not necessary:
9. TV and radio advertising placement for optimal media buying inventory management
10. Alternative media buying, ie. Programmatic media buying, popup ads, Google, Bing, etc.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a marketing/Social Media manager or similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Strong creative and writing skills with an eye for design and aesthetics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Passion for furniture and interior design trends is a plus.
You'll have all the tools necessary to help with carrying out tasks. We have most of the above roles available via Upwork, hence you will have the opportunity to micro manage these various subcontractors to make sure all tasks are effectively completed.
