What you’ll do:
Social Media
- Develop the social media calendar and manage the creation of engaging content (video, text, and photo) for assigned business lines in collaboration with other Marketing Coordinators.
- Monitor the social media competitive landscape and stay current on trends, share best practices with the team.
Content Marketing
- Assist Marketing Manager with the planning, development, management, publication, and reporting of original content needs (video, text, photo).
- Author new written pieces as required for publication on blog, website, and social media.
- Keep the asset library organized and current.
Participant Engagement
- Lead engagement contests with participants in the program and curate user-generated content.
- Coordinate student take-overs on social media.
- Facilitate ambassador program for on-program and post-program students.
Web Content
- Coordinate publication of new content for web.
- Author or edit original web content as required.
- Curate visuals and videos for web pages and shepherd new page content through an internal approval process.
- Consolidate web edit requests and coordinate edits with the web team.
- Coordinate with CIEE Digital Marketing Team to keep 3rd party site listing inventory up to date.
- Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects.
- Ensure that the sales team has their marketing needs met, including print collateral, merch/promotional materials, presentation materials, and event support.
- Act as the liaison with vendors to manage bulk orders/shipments of materials to the sales team and on-program students. Also, manage stock of online store.
Budget
- Process all invoices toward marketing expenses and log them in a budget tracker.
- Reconcile the budget every term (T1, T2, and T3) to make sure all known spending is accounted for, and alert Marketing Manager when spending nears allocated budget amounts
- Update/edit existing digital and print collaterals or templates such as sell sheets, flyers, posters… etc.
- Help develop copy and curate visuals for new digital and print content.
- Coordinate external resources for the production of large-scale print, digital, copywriting, and video projects
Support mass communication needs:
- Support new email content development as needed by curating new visuals, graphics, or copy.
- Coordinate production of emails with the web team.
- Send ad hoc mass texts and mail merges as needed and in coordination with sales
Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business management, or related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or related function at agency or internal marcom department
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience managing social media presence for a brand and direct user engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in basic graphic design and fluency in the Adobe Software suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop) or Canva
- Experience with simple video editing (iMovie, Premiere, Windows Movie Maker) is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with web-based project management tools and collaboration technologies
- Creative problem solving with a “can-do mentality”
- Flexible, change embracing in rapidly evolving work and market environment
- Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
