Develop, facilitate, and evaluate campus-wide outreach projects and activities with targeted community organizations, and partners.
Develop work plans and work collaboratively with the College or Continuing Education and community leaders to assist in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating information services and activities.
Develop and coordinate strategies that assist in identifying specific target groups and target locations within the service area.
Monitor and assist in the identification of outreach needs of the service area, its general demographics, and barriers to access; make appropriate service recommendations.
Conduct a variety of workshops and presentations.
Represent the College at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
Develop and maintain a network of faculty and staff interested in becoming involved in outreach.
Strengthen liaison services with other institutions, agencies, and community-based organizations that provide similar outreach services or require such services.
Assist Dual Credit Specialist with Dual Credit outreach to high school students and their parents.
Assist Dual Credit Specialist and Recruitment Coordinator with student registration.
Assist Recruitment Coordinator with Banner and CRM recruitment data entry, as well as student application processing.
Provide potential students with assistance, pre-enrollment services, and referrals to appropriate programs, departments, and services.
Coordinate the involvement of students, staff, and faculty in scheduled activities; and contribute to growth targets.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of sales and promotion techniques.

- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules, and regulations regarding area of practice.
- Knowledge of applicable word processing, spreadsheet and calendaring software.
- Knowledge of methods and practices used in report preparation.
- Skills in gathering, compiling, and presenting information in verbal and written form.
- Skills in excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with staff,
- faculty, students, and the public.

Associates Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or a related field
Three (3) year experience related to the duties described above.
Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
Must successfully complete a defensive driving course post-selection.
Related Experience may used to substitute for education on a year to year basis.
OR
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or a related field

Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Experience with database and/or customer relationship management.
