Marketing Communications Manager - Technology Events (Remote)
We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager for a large, global B2B high-tech company. This role will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing communication strategies for various events. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive communication plans, creating engaging content, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication before, during, and after events. You will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency and enhancing the organization's reputation through clear and compelling messaging.
This is a 12-month (Conversion OR Extension Possible), 40-hours-per-week remote role. but on occasion will travel to a Santa Clara office Location.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of each event.
- Identify target audiences and determine the most effective channels and messaging to reach them.
- Collaborate with event owners and marketing teams to integrate communication plans seamlessly with overall event strategies.
Content Creation:
- Create engaging content such as promotional materials, social media posts, and email communications.
- Write and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Develop multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and presentations, to support event communication efforts.
Internal Communication:
- Coordinate internal communication efforts to ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed and engaged before, during, and after events.
- Develop internal communication materials, such as event briefings and talking points, for staff members and key executives.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with communication objectives.
Event Coordination and Support:
- Work closely with event owners to integrate communication plans into event logistics and programming.
- Provide on-site support during events, such as overseeing social media engagement, and addressing any communication-related issues as they arise.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, public relations, or corporate communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing software, and media monitoring tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in event communications and public relations.
