40-hour per-week schedule. Exempt, salaried position. Partial hybrid work options may be considered with a majority of the week on campus.

Make Denison’s Social Media channels compelling to our current and prospective audiences. Monitor and manage university-level Social Media accounts, responding to and engaging with the college’s constituents. Plan and produce Social Media content. Identify and manage key performance indicators.

1. Strategy and content planning
   • Craft, execute, and evolve a comprehensive Social Media strategy aligned with the college’s goals and values.
   • Identify key messages and create content highlighting Denison’s academic strengths, culture, and community.
   • Create and manage the college’s Social Media content calendar.
2. Community engagement and channel management:
   • Foster a sense of community by actively engaging with followers and promptly responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
   • Monitor and participate in relevant conversations and trends within the Social Media landscape.
   • Periodically monitor Social Media accounts over evenings and weekends to watch for emerging situations and advise stakeholders on appropriate responses.
   • Serve as a member of the college’s emergency communications team.
   • Manage and maintain official Social Media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and others.
   • Stay updated on platform trends and best practices to optimize engagement.
3. Content development and curation:
   • Generate compelling and creative content, including text, images, and multimedia, to elevate the college’s brand and build awareness of stories and achievements.
   • Curate user-generated content that reflects the diverse experiences of our students, faculty, and alumni.
4. Analytics:
   • Develop key performance indicators to measure success across our social channels.
   • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of Social Media efforts.
   • Provide regular reports on KPIs and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant experience can be substituted for education. 3+ years experience.

Must be able to move around the campus, including walking, climbing stairs, and navigating hills. and move up to 20 lbs using appropriate equipment or assistance as needed.
