Events Custodian

Dayton Christian School (DCS) is looking for a SPECIAL EVENTS CUSTODIAN.

DCS has a rich heritage of educating for eternity for nearly 60 years. Over 1,000 students in Pre-K through 12th grade meet at our Miamisburg campus, where we provide a Biblically integrated, academically rigorous Christian education. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated SPECIAL EVENTS CUSTODIAN to perform day-to-day duties to ensure the facilities are presentable inside and out. The tasks will primarily be performed during school events, on evenings and on Saturdays, and will include floors, high-touch-point areas, dusting, event set up and tear down, emptying trash, and other duties as needed.

Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills are a must for our next SPECIAL EVENTS CUSTODIAN. Experience in custodial services or a related field is preferred. This is a full-time, ten-month position (work schedule is during the school year and one to two additional weeks after the end of the school year) with some flexibility in scheduling available.

This position is eligible for a student tuition discount.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.00 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Custodian: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Miamisburg, OH 45342: Relocate before starting work (Required)
