Events & Programming Coordinator

The City of Blue Ash is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join the Programming and Events Team in an administrative support and program coordination role.
The Events & Programming Coordinator position is a Part-Time Permanent position with an average of 20-25 hours per week, year-round. Primary hours are 9:00am to 1:00 pm M-F with occasional night or weekend hours.

• Provide support for programming and events team including: contract administration and follow-up, scheduling, and invoicing for programs
• Coordinate programming activities taking place in the Blue Ash Recreation Center. Including regular phone calls, emails and other communication with community partners, instructors, and community members.
• Assist in planning and coordination of City events
• Serve as liaison with the Blue Ash Historical Society
• Ability and willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions

• Enthusiastic personality interested in providing exemplary customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills. Willingness to learn new things and ability to think creatively.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software, including internal Point of Sale and Scheduling Software.
• Ability to add to a cohesive and supportive team environment around like-minded, positive and creative team members.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
