Events Manager

Responsibilities:

· Manage, plan and oversee the OAJ Annual and Winter Conventions, and other in-person OAJ events, including: site location, food and materials budgeting, attendance tracking, day-of coordination, etc.

· Coordinate with speakers, leaders, sponsors, and exhibitors to ensure their participation and support.

· Develop event budgets and manage expenses to ensure events are cost-effective.

· Plan and oversee online events such as webinars.

· Maintain the annual OAJ events calendar through coordination with both the CEO and staff, association committee members, and other members of the Board of Trustees

· Ensure proper applications for CLE accreditation from the Ohio Supreme Court for OAJ programs whenever necessary

· Coordinate and oversee the completion of special projects and perform other related duties as directed.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· Event planning experience

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Self-starter focused on completing tasks in a timely manner and of the highest quality

· Ability to provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to OAJ’s attorney members

· Detail oriented and highly organized

· Ability to work as a team member in a small staff environment

· Some in-state travel required
