Position Summary
The Marketing and Communication Specialist position provides Marketing and Communications support for the Office of Graduate Studies, specifically focused on the graduate student recruitment and event management functions of the office. This position includes developing and editing content to be used across a variety of mediums including, but not limited to print, email (transactional and CRM), social media, video, web site, and other communication platforms. Responsibilities include designing and producing various reports, marketing materials, videos, and presentations for the Office. Specifically, writing feature stories, news releases, website content, social media posts, and performing copy editing. This staff member will also assist with Marketing and recruitment materials, swag, event planning, coordination, and promotion, branding efforts, and other related needs as they arise. Finally, this position will also support the graphic design needs of the Office of Graduate Studies and serve as a marketing support liaison with a variety of departments and teams at UNO.
