This is a 100% in-office position that involves a combination of assisting customers in person, over the phone, and other office duties as needed.

  • Creating a warm inviting environment for walk-in clients. Friendliness, empathy, and a passion for why ALLO is better than the competition are must-haves
  • Answering questions, explaining ALLO's products and prices, and signing prospective customers up for service
  • Receiving payments, explaining bills, charges, and payment history
  • Swapping equipment, teaching customers how to use ALLO equipment such as TV remotes, and how their personal devices work with ALLO's services
  • Schedule installations and appointments
  • Process orders, including new signups, changes to existing services, disconnects, and equipment returns
  • Help ALLO play a role in the local community

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
  • 1+ year(s) of previous Customer Experience, phone experience preferred. We hire character and personality and look for those who have an instinct for our core values: Honest, Local, Exceptional, and Hassle-Free.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
  • Being an empathetic problem-solver who can really listen to customers and work towards a solution while making them feel assured they are in good hands
  • Well-spoken communicator who can confidently give answers in person, by phone, or via email
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software, navigate multiple systems
  • Ability to learn and grasp new concepts and work through problems in a logical manner. General trouble shooting ability preferred
  • Ability to be self-directed, multitask, and handle confidential information
  • Accurate cash handling skills and ability to count back change correctly
