```Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Marina Dock Hand to join our team. As a Dock Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our marina, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Responsibilities: - Assist boaters with docking and undocking their vessels - Provide exceptional customer service to all marina guests - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Marina Dock area - Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures - Assist with fueling boats and maintaining fuel dock equipment - Perform routine maintenance tasks on docks, including repairing or replacing dock lines, cleats, and fenders - Assist with boat launching and retrieval using a boat trailer - Assist with general maintenance tasks around the marina as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a marina or similar environment is preferred but not required - Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with boats and dock equipment is a plus - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in various weather conditions - Valid driver's license is required Skills: - Mechanical knowledge: Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with boats and dock equipment. - Rigging skills: Proficiency in handling ropes, lines, and other rigging equipment.
