Role Purpose: The Engineering Intern will complete routine or entry-level engineering work and assist with engineering projects.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Leading and deploying best practices in the manufacturing process
Supporting continuous improvement in various manufacturing processes
Reducing the tooling costs
Improving the flow of material
Setting up cycle times
Performs other related duties as assigned
At the conclusion of internship, the intern is required to prepare and present live to the management team a presentation on your experience at Humanetics.
Other Significant Role Requirements:
Basic Understanding of CAD
Basic understanding of engineering change process preferred
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting at a desk for prolonged periods.

Education and/or Experience:
2-year technical degree required (or actively pursuing 4-year Engineering degree)
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) technical preferred
