Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer

Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer (Part-Time) - Arden - Up to $20.00/hr.
PrideStaff is recruiting for a part-time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer for an accounting company located in Arden.
Job Summary: Responsible for tracking client's revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports. You will also be responsible for auditing books to ensure records are correct.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information
• Reconcile company's financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Prepare tax returns for businesses and individuals
• Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements
• Study financial trends to determine future business needs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of three years' work-related experience
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Basic working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - Up to 25 hours a week (flexible work schedule available)
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
