Company Overview:
Konik is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing company located northwest of the metro area. We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the design, tooling, and machinery are optimized to meet and exceed our company’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and delivery.
- Reduce manufacturing costs where feasible, ensuring adherence to safety and SOP regulations, including the Mustad Performance System (MPS).
- Utilize SolidWorks software for designing layouts, parts assembly, and drawings; develop 3D CAD models.
- Provide technical support to staff on areas like robotics, closed die hot forging, machine shop, etc.
- Conduct design reviews for new products and process projects, supporting R&D in integrating new technologies.
- Develop and maintain standardized operating instructions and documentation.
What You Bring to the Table:
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Process engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics); Master's Degree a plus.
- At least three years of experience in process engineering, including 3D CAD modeling and SolidWorks.
- Strong background in process engineering (hot forged, die close dies, tooling, CNC machines, or robotics).
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing mechanical and electrical drawings.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in robotics and PLC programming.
- Familiarity with CNC machines, robotics programming, close-die hot forging, and tooling design.
- Spanish fluency in both speech and writing.
