What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
- Support Lean Manager with 5s initiatives including, but not limited to:
- Creation of visual management at work centers
- 5s audits
- Facilitating kaizen events
- Implementation of layered process audits
- Collaborate closely with EHS teams, operations, and maintenance personnel to identify root causes of safety incidents and develop solutions for improved safety performance.
- Support EHS Manager with safety and environmental initiatives including, but not limited to:
- PPE sheet updates
- Recycling and waste audit
- Projects to increase safety awareness across the plant
- Collaborate closely with EHS team, operations, and maintenance personnel to identify root causes of safety incidents and develop solutions for improved safety performance.
- Learn and support The Toro Company lean problem solving process
- Engage with operators in all areas of the plant to address safety and lean concerns
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Enrolled in an academic programAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficient in technical writing, Microsoft Office products
