Position Summary
The Security Compliance Manager will lead the security functions for Hawaiian Airlines Catering Operations in the US mainland including JFK. This role will develop, implement, and maintain standardized policies, systems, and processes across HA operations to ensure compliance with all applicable catering security requirements. The salary range for this position is $85,100 - $102,200.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reviews and audits following AOSSP and HA catering security standards
- Manage the catering security program for HA at JFK airport
- Record keeping
- Manage CCTV surveillance program
- Monitor and implement the catering facility's physical access control program
- Prepare catering security reports and analysis
- Provide vendor management oversight to Catering Security firms, including ongoing monitoring and follow-up on performance
- Be available to respond to a Catering Security emergency 24/7
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Director, Corporate Security
Minimum Requirements
- High School or equivalent education
- 4 years of experience in a related field plus hands-on management in the civil or military aviation industry
- 1 year of experience in vendor management
- Knowledge of security programs and government and TSA regulatory requirements
- Demonstrable excellent written, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Must be eligible to attain and then if directed, attain, and maintain a US government issued security eligibility (security clearance)
- Must possess exceptional planning, time management and organizational skills
- Must have or be able to obtain an airport SIDA credential
- Some travel required

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated career experience in and comprehensive understanding of best practices in catering security
