Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center offers the most comprehensive psychiatric mental health services and treatments in North Florida, South Georgia and Southeastern Alabama. Our specially-trained, interdisciplinary team provides support for substance abuse and mental health disorders for adults and children across our region. Whether in an inpatient or outpatient capacity, we work collaboratively with our hospital and service partners to provide holistic treatment to meet both the mental and physical health needs of our patients.
Your Role:
- Direct, establish, and plan the overall policies, goals, and management for Therapy Services within the context of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policy implementation and program development.
- Establish staff expectations by developing customer service expectations, mentoring, and providing clinical supervision for licensure.
- Monitor service quality and oversees patients’ Baker Act* status.
- Network with community resources.
- Provide direct clinical services to patients and families (as needed).
*Baker Act = Florida Statutes, Title XXIX (Public Health), Chapter 394 (Mental Health)

Supervise:
- Social Worker/Clinical I
- Social Worker/Clinical II
Required Education:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of relevant job-related experience post-licensure (including one (1) year of supervisory experience)
Preferred Experience:
- Trained in internal quality management (IQM).
- Budget management experience.
- Experience treating patients with co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders of various ages.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 491 (Clinical, Counseling, and Psychotherapy Services)
