DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
PATEINT FINANCIAL ACCESS SERVICES
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage applicable Patient Access Services administrative operations staff, working with them to plan and schedule resources to meet administrative functions
Responsible for standardizing information storage, documents, records management and project inventory
Research, collect, analyze data and oversee support of the Sr. Director by preparing presentations, charts, spreadsheets or other documents as required
Monitor department audit results for compliance and identify training, procedural and employee issues requiring resolution
Prepare operating and capital budgets when applicable; approve and monitor expenditures
Review and interpret new regulations and contracts to determine impact on Patient Financial Access Services, monitor compliance with regulations and contracts
Prepare reports, documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel programs and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
4 years in Revenue Cycle/Patient/Financial Access positions as a supervisor or other similar position with administrative support experience with a senior executive
Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under time pressure with deadlines and dynamic multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, travel, and events and keep all details organized and accessible
Demonstrated experience working in large, highly structured healthcare environments
Highly skilled proficiency with computers, Internet, and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Visio
Experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Financial Access, Patient Access, or other finance related departments
