Job Description
The Product Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive demand and engagement of Virtuoso products. This role has responsibility for implementing go to market strategies, developing marketing and sales enablement toolsin collaboration with our Events Marketing team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with the Digital Product Managers to provide strategic marketing insights throughout the development of new digital products. Work closely with the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and Events Marketing team to identify needs, use cases, and formulate comprehensive launch strategies and plans.
- Partner with Event marketing to help drive demand and engagement for existing and new events. Implement innovative marketing practices that represent the voice of the customer to support established outcomes and KPI’s.
- Continuously monitor and assess competitors, conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape. Analyze market data to provide actionable insights for product positioning and differentiation.
- Conduct comprehensive research on the latest digital marketing strategies, encompassing social media, campaign tactics, and website optimization, to enhance the visibility, engagement, and overall success of our events. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends, applying insights to refine and innovate our digital event promotion approaches.
- Collaborate with the sales team, to provide them with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively communicate product value propositions and benefits of our marketing, events and sponsorship products.
- Develop sales enablement tools, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs, business solutions, and pain points. Partner with Event Marketing to craft segment-specific solutions and compelling value propositions that address customer pain points.
- Collaborate with Event Marketing to devise strategies for maximizing the distribution of post-event content, ensuring broader visibility and impact.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and projects with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, engineering, product design and network.
- Channel customer feedback and market insights to the Product Teams, advocating for new products within the team to drive customer product adoption.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 5-7 years of related work experience in marketing role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
- Ability to work across functions and departments
- Excellent project management skills

Travel Requirements:
- Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
- Travel will be entirely domestic.

- Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers and executives outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
- External: Contact with Virtuoso members, partners, and outside vendors.
