Manager of Corporate Replenishment

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain Current Merchandise Replenishment Forecast System:
- Execute and oversee the Corporate Replenishment Forecast System, a PC-based, Windows-compatible stand-alone system.
- Maintain Buyer-specific parameters within the current forecast system.
- Review results and implement systemic updates to optimize sales and enhance control over replenishment inventory.
Implement future Replenishment Forecast System:
- Play a key role in identifying and implementing a new replenishment system
- Explaining and leading training of a new replenishment system to a diverse merchant community
Mainframe Management:
- Manage the IBM Mainframe segment of the Replenishment System.
- Propose and implement modifications, ensuring beneficial changes to the online Replenishment System.
Report Maintenance:
- Maintain current Replenishment On-Demand Reports, updating and modifying Excel macros with each new Excel release.
Purchase Order Management:
- Generate weekly/daily Replenishment orders based on dynamic forecasts, seasonally adjusted business requirements, trends, and promotions.
- Working with the merchants to onboard new styles into the replenishment system
- Identify and recommend styles to be removed from replenishment at the end of their life cycle
Training:
- Conduct training sessions for new hires on the Replenishment System.
- Maintain the existing training materials as needed
Create Ad Hoc Reports to Address Changing Business Needs:
- Utilize a report writer to analyze and update forecasted stock levels.
- Transfer segments of data from large relational databases to Excel for analysis
Sales and Stock Analysis:
- Possess the ability to analyze and review sales and stock levels.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business Math in Retail Operations.
- Proficiency in computer applications including report writers, Excel, and db2 databases.
- Knowledge of IBM's QMF facility is a plus
- Knowledge of Replenishment Systems like IBM's Inforem a plus
- Background in programming.
- Proven experience in a recognized replenishment system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
- Familiarity with retail operations and programming
- Bachelor's degree required
