This position ensures reliable operation of the IOPS IT infrastructure and Operations. Supervises, plans, coordinates, directs, designs and delivers activities of IT operational projects, as well as provides administrative direction and support for daily GxP operational activities of IT department, including, but not limited to, responsibility for all systems hardware and operational infrastructure, ensuring integration and coordination with Corporate systems and operations.
As a Manager, IT Operations Client Services, a typical day might include the following:
Responsible for driving and delivering work plans, providing technical direction to IOPS IT operations on GxP related compliance and delivering technology solutions to the end users. Provides administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of IT Operations team including, but not limited to, responsibility for all hardware and compliance related management infrastructure.
Works closely with decision makers in other departments as well as Corporate IT, to proactively identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for GMP and Internal audit compliance of IOPS IT Infrastructure.
Provides operational management of following functions under established standards and processes set by corporate IT and insure compliance to GMP standards, Integrate local resources with global teams for IT Operations,
Telecom/communications and System Monitoring, Asset Management, Desktop Support, and Security.
Provide oversight to 3rd party managed services and staff augmentation providers for delivery of IT Operational services.
Works closely with all members of IT management in developing, integrating and implementing technologies that support operational and strategic goals.
Helps define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices and be familiar with taking a request through the change control process.
Develops operational goals as well as systems specifications.
Provide technical guidance, develop solutions and execute plans as per project needs.
Ensure training of staff on operational procedures.
Creates schedules, work plans, and product cost guidelines that are consistent with company standards.
Work with IT leadership in operational & strategic planning, insuring we meet regulatory requirements.
Provide innovation, planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
Manages and delivers deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IOPS IT infrastructure.
Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on and makes recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IOPS IT infrastructure and IT systems.
This role may be for you if you have:
Management and delivery experience required including management of a diverse technical team. Experiencing managing vendors and managed services.
Experience in developing and deploying SLA's, Metrics and other best practices as well as having successfully implemented ITIL practices into an organization.
Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
Strong background in Microsoft OS in particular Server and GPO elements.
Strong understanding of Data Integrity and associated tools.
In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and
Associate Manager: 6+ years of experience, including 4 + years of management experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
Manager: 7 years of experience, including 5 + years of management experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
May consider experience in lieu of education; level decided upon completion of an interview process
