Grow your career as a successful Manager Development within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will act as a leader in the development of software applications. Your teams will undertake complex application development projects that may impact multiple business units and contribute to the strategic vision. You will lead one or more development teams in an agile environment focused on product delivery while managing and developing software developers.
A successful Manager Development will:

• Direct multiple software developers involved in the analysis, design and development of large- scale web applications.
• Leader of an agile development team capable of identifying and removing roadblocks of a technical nature.
• Direct management of resources; including resource planning, selection, development, recognition, and performance management.
• Work with Project Manager and/or scrum master as a champion of the process and help drive expectations of the development team and the business needs.
• Responsible for career development and performance reviews of Developers.
• Understand and support goals and objectives of Trisept Product Centers.
• Participates in code and design reviews.
• Serve as escalation point for issues beyond project team authority, resolve conflicts involving scheduling, resources or technical issues.
• Manage and resource system support issues related to your projects and team.
• Coordinate and support code releases.
• Participate in agile team ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills.

A successful Manager Development will have:

• Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or university or equivalent experience .
• 7+ years of experience in software development. Degree preferred in computer science or related field.
• Strong software design and implementation skills including experience with .NET development.
• Demonstrated experience with web and mobile technologies.
• Experience in agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills.
