Responsibilities:
Guidance and Reporting: Provide expert guidance on describing enterprise or vehicle performance through the application of statistical methods. Craft ad-hoc reports to communicate findings and recommendations to business partners.
Collaboration : Thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with leaders and managers to address ad-hoc data and reporting needs effectively.
Statistical Modelin g: Develop and build statistical models that capture company-wide trends, contributing to operational improvement and strategic decision-making.
Data Validation : Conduct testing and validation of data sets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Problem Solving : Enjoy deciphering the meaning of data and explaining how various teams and leaders can leverage it to enhance and streamline their processes.
Documentation and Structure: Maintain well-defined structures in documentation and data, utilizing a comprehensive toolset in statistical methodologies to address complex business problems.
Hybrid:
Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years experience required.
- Data Integration Skills: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL (Hadoop, Cassandra), Alteryx, and Trifacta.
- Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Excel, JMP, SAS, SPSS, and Cognos.
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases such as Access, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
- Analytical Expertise: Extensive experience, using data and judgment, to plan and accomplish goals effectively.
- Statistical Proficiency: Proficient in statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, and statistical process control.
- Data Management: Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects for a wider audience.
- Collaboration and Project Management: Excellent collaboration and project management skills to lead technical teams successfully.
