Perform Software Defined Vehicle 2.0 architecture-based embedded Vehicle Motion Embedded Controls (VMEC) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) backend data warehousing using Hive Query Language (HQL) scripts in Hive database, and develop data models to combine passenger vehicle program timing data from Momentum and Vehicle Software Configuration Management data for software versions. Provide data insights and trends in dashboards developed using PowerBI visualization tool for embedded ECU test development and results progress vs. program milestone timing requirements to ensure timely passenger vehicle program launches. Develop reports in Python programming language for user interface and business logic layer, and Oracle, Hive, and Spark for the database layer to automate time consuming manual tasks of extraction and transformation of VMEC full time headcount data, providing live visualizations for leadership, to predict headcount requirements for launch of new vehicle programs. Create HQL and SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views to extract data from databases, to cleanse data and to aggregate data for analysis. Hybrid: This option does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. This position requires an employee to be onsite once per month.                                                                                                                                   

Additional Description

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, Analyst, Specialist, or related role.  Must also have experience with: creating HQL and SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views to extract data from databases, to cleanse data and to aggregate data for analysis.
