The Manager, Customer Content Marketing will support extending our leadership position through the development of customer-focused promotional materials that drive brand awareness and support the company’s growth efforts. Reporting to the leader of Marketing Operations, this role is responsible for working across functions to deliver compelling content that resonates with our current and prospective customers.
The successful candidate enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment, and is highly creative and able to translate complex subjects into simple and persuasive content.
Responsibilities:
- Create high quality Customer Content ranging from thought leadership, blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, infographics, videos, webinars, social media content and presentations
- Work closely with Integrated Campaigns to develop content and customizations required for campaign execution
- Assist in local annual marketing plan development and planning
- Contribute to persona development and implement SEO standard processes to improve the visibility and search rankings
- Monitor and analyze content performance to drive continuous improvement
- Establish content guidelines, governance processes and quality standards for customer-focused assets
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 6-8 years of experience in Content Marketing, content strategy or a related role
- Energy industry or relevant business-to-business industry experience preferred
- Creative problem solver with a data-driven attitude
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create high quality content
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry trends and standard methodologies
