Associate Content Editor

We are looking for an Associate Content Editor to join our Trademark Indexing Team in Belgrade, Serbia. This is an amazing opportunity to work on providing curated trademarks to the market and as such enabling our customers to make informed decisions about their trademarks. About 90% of Top 100 Global Brands are part of our customer portfolio. The team consists of 6 people in Belgium and 5 people in Belgrade and is reporting to the Team Manager EMEA Content Curation. We have a great skill set in languages, problem solving and attention to detail and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in languages, analytics and a hands-on attitude.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer focused environment with data entry experience
• Proficient in English (C1/C2) and 1 or more of these languages: French/Italian/Spanish/German (C1/C2)
• Bachelor's degree (Postgraduate) or equivalent work experience

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably experience with Agile methodology. High attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and balancing priorities with shifting deadlines.
• Computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.…).
• Knowledge or experience with Trademarks is a bonus.
• A positive and energetic approach and customer focus experience
• Experience with working against tight deadlines and multi-tasking
• The knowledge of Cyrillic

What will you be doing in this role?

• Validating, editing, and enriching trademark info of trademark records. Assure quality of trademark data
• Deliver high quality trademark records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure and timeliness of trademark updates
• Assist in resolving data entry and system problems
• Provide internal feedback to management on opportunities to improve data quality or process
• Cross-training whenever applicable as we’re operating in an ever-changing world and maintain an active understanding of the IP industry.

About the Team

Trademark Indexing is a dynamic team in a rapidly changing industry. Accordingly, the responsibilities associated with this job will change from time to time in accordance with the Company’s business needs. We curate Trademark content to deliver to our internal and external customers for Search and Watch services. The quality of those services relies on our team delivering first class data.

Our team consists of a good mix of senior and junior analysts and works very closely together with our Trademark Indexing Team in India that consists of 15 people.

Global teamwork is essential to our success. We’re currently working on replacing our legacy technology and processes which creates great opportunities and the need for additional skill sets to support this major change.

Hours of Work  

From 9 am to 5 pm CET, full-time employment.

This is a hybrid position working in the office 3 days every other week.
