We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Loan Administration with a $5B - $10B Indiana based financial institution. This is a new position and allows for the individual hired to assess the Loan Administration function and to make whatever changes deemed necessary.

Essential Functions

The Manager Loan Administration provides the day-to-day leadership and management of the Commercial Loan Administration department. In addition, this position is responsible for a wide range of cross-functional lending-oriented initiatives to include loan portfolio management, loan reporting, quality control and process improvement.

• Manages and prioritizes the workflow for all post-underwriting functions
  • Delegates and allocates assignments based on experience, availability, complexity, and team responsible for completing tasks
• Manages all administrative loan activities, which include the review of control reports, ensuring that all documentation policy exceptions are cleared timely and open receivables are resolved promptly
• Partners with management and the Loan Servicing Department on changes and developments concerning the department and Commercial Lending with the bank
• Monitors GL accounts that are utilized by Commercial Lending and communicates concerns or updates to accounting
• Ensures all client files are up to date, process flows in place, and procedures are updated as necessary
• Responsible for ensuring all compliance credit regulations are followed
• Ensures satisfactory scores are achieved on all compliance reviews and internal audits
• Continually evaluates current processes and identifies opportunities for increased improvements
• Interfaces with Lenders and Managers on complex issues surrounding client onboarding, billing, and loan reconciliation
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and provides guidance to the Commercial Loan Administration team of six
• Ensures each team member meets established goals/objectives, maintains up to date knowledge, and adheres to all Bank lending policies and regulations
• Performs duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer

Here is what our client requires:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Loan documentation and funding
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, banking or a similar field
• Master’s degree preferred
