Area Managerswill possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work smart. A typical shift may include training a new employee, meeting with a customer, dropping off supplies, and performing multiple site inspections. The position can vary greatly from day to day.
The position is largely self-directed and requires the Area Manager to be actively cleaning/training for a small portion of each shift. Will manager Huntington, Bluffton, Berne Indiana markets.
We currently have second shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), with occasional (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM) to cover 3rd shift visits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Account Managment to retain and strengthen customer relationships
- Oversee new building start-ups to launch new accounts
- Budget management and contract renewals
- Coaching cleaners and building supervisors
- Building Inspections within assigned accounts to ensure quality standards
- Interview, hire and train employees, both new and existing on a continuing basis
- Deliver Discipline and rewards according to our policy manual
- Deliveries of cleaning supplies within Berne, Bluffton, and Decatur Indiana
- Provide coverage during staff shortages as necessary
- Meetings with Operations Manager
- Other Projects to improve our workplace
- Emergency Phone coverage to manage schedule changes within assigned market
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Account Management with budget oversite
- Proven experience as a supervisor managing teams at multiple locations
- Ability to Coach and Lead
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to grow and accept feedback
- Possess Driver's License, ability to pass a DMV and criminal background check
- Experience in a Janitorial Supervisory role preferred
