The primary purpose of the Manager position is to manage the accreditation aspect Continuing Professional Education. Manage the Regularly Schedule Series (RSS) program, CE application process, and Maintenance of Certification (MOC). Provide compliance oversight in the coordination, administration, and evaluation of CE activities. Participates in and assists with Joint Accreditation compliance and reaccreditation. Supervise RSS staff.
Key Functions
1.Regularly Scheduled Series
• Ensure the successful development, implementation, and evaluation of regularly scheduled series that comply with accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, faculty, and stakeholders to develop and implement regularly scheduled series for healthcare professionals.
• Review and interpret accreditation criteria, providing guidance to faculty and staff on compliance, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of regularly scheduled series including participant evaluations, feedback from faculty and other relevant data.
• Supervise the RSS team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
2.Management of CE Application
• Review CE applications for completion, accuracy, and compliance
• Process CE applications through the review process with the Professional Education Committee
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support accreditation efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop new continuing education programs and update existing programs to meet accreditation requirements.
• Provides oversight of Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.
• Provide training to supervised staff and relevant stakeholders (e.g., Department RSS Coordinators, RSS faculty, etc.).
3.Joint Accreditation Compliance
• Supports Joint accreditation compliance.
• Assists with the CE re-accreditation process, including the comprehensive self-study process.
• Conducts regular file reviews to ensure Joint Accreditation compliance for each activity, identify and monitor potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; ensure timely corrective action through intervention and contingency planning
• Oversees the CE compliance for accredited activities.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
Preferred: Master's level education.
Experience
Required: Five years of progressive association or meetings management experience, to include three years supervisory experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
License/CertificationPreferred:

*Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP)
