Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
The Credit Manager is responsible for the operations DSO and cash flow through effective collections and advance deposit results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor credit risk analysis and determine credit limits of new and existing accounts.
- Effectively perform collections activities and follow up with customers to optimize cash flow.
- Regularly interact with Conference Services, Catering, Sales and operations to ensure efficient collections, resolve payment issues, and minimize/eliminate write offs
- Prepare collection reports for management review
- Reconcile monthly AR files as required.
- Manage weekly credit meeting with all sales, catering and conference staff.
- Oversee the pre-approval procedure and advance deposit collections for all hotel and conference center groups.
- Supervise A/R Specialist and Campus Club Receivables Associate.

- Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees and management
- Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed

OTHER DUTIES
Assimilate into The FLIK Platinum Service culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of FLIK Platinum Service. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Flik from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The hotel provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged, or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your Manager.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and standard accounting procedures
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate 10-key calculator
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests
- Knowledge of computers and typing skills
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School diploma required
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years accounts receivable experience required. Hotel front desk/reservations experience a plus.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
None required.
GROOMING
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Must be detail oriented, computer literate and a team player
