Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year
Our client, a Boston based Hedge Fund is looking to add a Corporate Accounting Manager to the team. Reporting directly into the CFO, this position will be a key member of the firm and take on many responsibilities within the back-office. The ideal profile for this position will be a candidate coming from another Hedge Fund or Private Equity Firm, or straight out of pubic accounting with industry experience.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to support senior management decision-making processes
- Responsible for Management Company activities, including accounting close, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, general accounting, and tax filing support
- Preparation of the annual budget for the Americas entities, and delivery of quarterly management reporting, variance analysis, and reforecasting as needed
- Manage operating costs and, along with Fund Accounting and Legal, oversee complex expense allocations between the Management Company and the firm's investment Funds
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
- Supervise reconciliations of intercompany accounts and ensure timely recharges of expenses between Management Company affiliates and the firm's investment Funds
- Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting key trends, issues, and risks
- Manage operating costs and, along with Fund Accounting and Legal, oversee complex expense allocations between the Management Company and the firm's investment Funds
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, CPA a plus
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Exposure to public accounting and Management Company accounting with an asset management firm is ideal
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detailed oriented and team player
