The position’s responsibility is to perform all Maintenance and Safety Administrative
Main Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Generate and schedule PM’s and work orders as directed.
- Enter Daily logs consisting of work orders and PM’s into Maintenance Management system.
- Manage parts inventory and order parts as needed, including updating necessary documentation.
- Labeling/control of equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining all SDS and chemical control requirements for facility.
- Monitor department training.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with fellow employees, departments, and department managers. Expectations are for employees to treat others with openness, integrity, and respect including a dedication to high quality standards for job and company.
- Understand and follow safety requirements, procedures, and policies.
- Follow company rules and employee guidelines, as established by Matouk Textile Works.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager Maintenance EHS.
Qualification Requirements:
- Occasional heavy lifting, frequent medium lifting, including but not limited to 50lbs over the shoulder.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Capable of bending, reaching, stooping, frequent walking, standing, occasional climbing.
- Capable of working in a variety of environmental conditions, i.e. hot and cold temperatures.
- Capable of working in a variety of positions such as kneeling, crouching, etc.
- Capable of operating a forklift or able to qualify.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management System software desired.
- Stockroom procedures and shipping amp; receiving experience desired.
- Good typing skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good telephone and interpersonal skills.
