Maintenance Technician

Work Hours:

• Position may work 8 or 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Position is required to participate in on-call schedule (one weekend every 5-6 weeks)

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician position undertakes the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. Work is performed under the immediate supervision of a supervisor and manager who direct tasks on a regular basis.

Essential Job Functions

· Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards

· Perform maintenance of electrical systems

· Maintain heating and plumbing systems or ensure functionality

· Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs when needed

· Perform manual repairs when necessary

· Conduct general upkeep procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

· Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional is desired but not required

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, and methods

· Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills

ADA Requirements

· Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 75 lbs

· Must be able to team lift up to 108 lbs.

· Must be able to bend, reach, twist, stoop, crawl and crouch regularly in order to perform various job duties

· Should be able to stand for long periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
