Maintenance Technician

We are working towards our shared vision to be the world's best and most trusted mobility company.  The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician located at 400 Rental Blvd., Kenner, LA 70062.  The Maintenance Technician performs car repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This pay for this position starts at $17.00.  We offer:Paid time offEmployee rental car discountsRetirement savings plan including 401k with matching profit sharingHealth InsuranceLife InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceTraining and developmentSchedule: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Thursday - Monday (OFF Tuesday and Wednesday) Responsibilities We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levelsPerform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelinesRepair and replace tiresReplacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repairComply with part and inventory tracking proceduresProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all servicesMay process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backsFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standardsMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standardsPerform other related duties as required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 3 years (DUI/DWI)Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following shift/schedule: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Thursday - Monday (OFF Tuesday and Wednesday) New Orleans Airport Service Center: 400 RENTAL BLVD KENNER, LA 70062  Compensation is $17.00/hour on weekdays (Monday-Friday), and $19.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday. 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
