What we need from you:
- Support new technology and automation by troubleshooting robots, HMI’s, PLCs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair plant equipment including compression presses, CNCs, and gasketing equipment to ensure the team can meet production goals and customer quality expectations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and testing instruments including test lights, volt meters and pressure gauges.
- Understand manufacturing processes and ensure reliable operation of plant equipment focus on eliminating waste, reducing cost and improving overall production productivity.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to determine resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues.
- Complete PM’s completely and timely and communicate updates with supervisor.
- Set and install molds in compression presses using die truck, complete hydraulic hook-ups, settings, and adjustments.
- Monitor mold room equipment and ensure presses are pre-heating to minimize downtime and die change time.
- Build hydraulic hoses for presses
- Clean oil heaters
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, operate in a safe manner and be a safety champion
- Complete fresh start of new molds
- Ability and willingness to work weekend rotation(aprox. every other weekend)

Requirements include:
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience reading schematics
- Minimum of 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility that includes hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills including Controls experience
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo license and operate safely and effectively
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout
- Experience using hand tools
- Electrical repairs experience-mostly low voltage
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Effective listening skills
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
- Good hand eye coordination and must be mechanically inclined
- Solid math skills and measurement knowledge.
- Ability to climb ladder and work on platform periodically (aprox 30 feet)
- Good Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
- To be a good team member
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
- Knowledge of fiberglass, polycarbonate and electrical enclosures preferred
- Prefer ISO experience
