We are seeking a mid-level or seasoned maintenance professional to fill a part-time, year-roundBuilding/Mechanical position at our South Lyon location. This position will work 20-25 hours per week. This position will be responsible for maintenance of the John McCarter Construction Headquarters in South Lyon. Successful candidates have the technical skills to complete the work and the ability to interact with co-workers to solve problems independently.
Basic Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to report to work at 7am or earlier Monday-Friday.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- General Building Maintenance (furnace filters, light bulbs, garage doors, etc.).
- Snow removal/salting (may require working outside of standard business hours).
- Landscaping & lawn care.
- Weekly truck & trailer washing.
- Minor trailer and vehicle repair (greasing trailers, oil changes, etc.).
- General yard/warehouse clean-up.
