Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance of our facilities and ensure the effective and efficient operation of our mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the timely inspection and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to plan maintenance activities with minimal impact on production schedules.
- Prioritize and schedule urgent repairs to minimize downtime.
- Equipment Inspection and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and mechanical systems to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement and optimization.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Implement and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
- Establish maintenance procedures and checklists for routine inspections and upkeep.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained to extend its lifespan and minimize unexpected failures.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenses related to repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience ( minimum 2 year, 5 years preferred)in a Mechanical Maintenance position dealing with HVAC.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in maintenance management.
