TruStile Doors is a manufacturer of custom, made-to-order architectural doors for high-end residential and commercial markets. This position will report to the Plant Manager. This position is responsible for managing, scheduling and problem-solving maintenance related issues for our Denver manufacturing site. The Maintenance and Facilities Manager will also work closely with Engineering to plan and to execute equipment-based engineering projects aimed at process improvements and capacity increases. The successful candidate will be expected to identify key resource gaps within the department and proactively address them as the company grows. This position drives change at the floor level so candidates must have excellent coaching/motivational and team building skills.
From a facilities perspective you will have accountability for coordinating and managing the operational activities, programs, functions, services, and budget for facilities maintenance including technical and cost/benefit justification. Assist the facilities manager in the development of long-term capital plans for facility improvement, repairs and operational enhancements.

- Achieve departmental, plant and corporate goals for safety, quality, service, housekeeping and productivity.
- Achieve plant uptime requirements.
- Oversee maintenance part purchasing to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained.
- Facilitate training for mechanics on safety, daily accountabilities, and skill enhancement.
- Maintain exceptional employee morale by portraying a positive image of the company and its improvement programs.
- Work closely with Engineering and Production to create a collaborative and cohesive operations environment.
- Select, implement, and manage all physical assets using a CMMS
- Provide asset cost and uptime reports and assist in capital planning
- Will serve as the site backup Emergency Coordinator in the absence of the EHS Manager.
Requirements
You're a good fit if you have
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex mechanical, process and quality issues.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven facilities management experience
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
- Strong data analysis skills. Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize many responsibilities at once
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, accounting, etc.
- Have working knowledge with hydraulic equipment, pneumatic and robotic
- Have working knowledge of vacuum systems and boilers
