Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill Mailroom Clerk positions in San Francisco, CA. Primary Accountabilities
Primary Accountabilities
- Opens, sorts, and routes mail and packages
- Operates scanning equipment and ensures proper imaging and routing of items.
- Operates mail machine efficiently and effectively and inspects it daily to insure proper working order.
- May assist in the research and location of missing or mis-routed packages
- Processes outgoing mail and packages through mail machine or courier shipment systems.
- Folds and inserts correspondence and other forms into envelopes in preparation for mailing.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Strong reading and reading comprehension skills required
- Microsoft Outlook knowledge
- Imaging/scanning/mail machine and technical mail room experience preferred
- Word processing, email, spreadsheet experience preferred
- Essential computer skills include regular use of a computer, including the ability to type, utilize a mouse, and read information from a computer screen or monitor.
- Can lift up to 50lbs without assistance Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; or one to two years related mail room/imaging experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
