REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Log and distribute mail/packages received to residents
- Responsible for receiving and logging all packages received from FEDEX, UPS, Amazon, DHL etc
- Responsible for delivering packages on daily basis and following up on any packages that have not been picked up within three (3) days
- Assist Mail and Packaging Coordinator with answering phones and greeting residents as needed
- Answers questions related to the ability of packages and Mail
- Manage and coordinate Return to Sender mail and package
- Moves packages into storage area and maintains the area organized for ease of search for packages
- Provide wide range of administrative and support services to residents, staff and Managers as needed
- Conduct and complete daily checklist to make sure all doors are latched after hours
- Ensure kiosks at the package room are on and properly working
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great with people – warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone.
- Organized and have the ability to multi-task.
- Be able to solve problems effectively
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and be able to follow instructions in both
- Ability to work weekend and holiday hours as needed
- High school diploma or GED required, 3-6 months of customer service experience
- Proficiency in internet explorer, Windows and MS Word
- Pass Background screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular and physical attendance required.
- Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around the community
- Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift
- Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance
- Frequently lift/move/carry 5lbs
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Salary Range: $16.78- $17.00 per hour.
