The Mailroom Clerk executes, in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures of the Mount Carmel Health System's document control processes.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Familiarity with office procedures, word processing and spreadsheet software
- Effective Communication Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production and quality standards as needed
- Exhibits organizational and problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Opens, sorts and delivers incoming correspondence to appropriate internal departments or mail boxes within established service timeframes.
- Retrieves and distributes requested records as needed
- Assembles and prepares for mailing any applicable correspondence generated
- Maintain data entry of information into the record system to locate all personnel and departments located at the Corporate Services Center
- Provides additional clerical support as needed
- Provides additional support acting in the capacity of receptionist for the building guests and Staff
- Corresponds with vendors to resolve service issues with mail room equipment
- Assists with special projects across organization
- Scans and organizes documents to ensure compliant processing of time sensitive materials
- Assists with voicemail retrieval and handling for member and provider inquiries
